On 13th November, Co-op Academy Delius took part in Children in Need 2020.

Both staff and pupils came to school in their pyjamas along with contributions as a way to raise money for Children in Need.

We also took part in the ‘Act your age’ fundraiser challenge.  As Delius is 10 years old, all classes chose to use the number 10 in different ways to fundraise for Children in Need.

Some classes baked 10 buns or 10 Pudsey bear cookies to sell, and got very excited when they could explore and taste the left overs.

Other classes walked or ran 10 laps of the school’s outdoor area to raise their money.

Class 6 had lots of fun using the number 10 by splatting 10 plates of cream on their teachers and each other.

Charlotte our Acting Deputy Head raised money by having 10 races with children in school.  The children were all smiles when they beat her in the race.

Everyone had a fantastic day fundraising together and finished it off with a Children in Need virtual disco to celebrate and show off what they had been up to.
