As part of Time to Talk day 2022, parents/carers and young siblings of all pupils at Co-op Academy Delius were invited to a family breakfast morning. All breakfast items were provided for parents to enjoy together. The morning was a huge success, as parents were able to talk to each other and meet new people from the academy and community. 

We have had some great feedback from our parents below:

What a lovely morning. It was so nice to finally get into school and meet staff and mingle! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you so much for hosting the breakfast/coffee morning. It was great to meet up with other parents and take time to talk to staff. Carers are unfortunately overlooked in society, the needs of our children come before everyone and everything else – although our children are blessings to us and caring for them is a privilege, it can often be a lonely and difficult journey, but events like this are so appreciated and welcomed and make all the difference to us. I love coming into Delius as the atmosphere is always so welcoming and positive – staff are always so supportive and wearing a smile. More mornings like this please – and if contributions are needed I’m happy to bring in some bits for staff and parents! Once again thank you so much angels at Delius

Yes! The event was fantastic I thought it was a very lovely idea. After everything that has been happening with the pandemic this gave my husband and me the opportunity to meet many other parents who have been feeling isolated. The other parents were very friendly and nice, the staff were kind as always, very friendly aswell. It should happen more often. The breakfast provided was yummy. Thank you Delius for organising the breakfast club for us parents
