Christmas came early to Co-op Academy Delius this year to bring some festive joy to the staff and children.  We wanted to finish the year on a high to celebrate everything we have achieved together.

Celebrations started with creating individual Christmas tree baubles to decorate the big Christmas tree in the hall.  The decorations were then judged by SLT to see who had made the best baubles of the bunch.  Well done to Class 6 for winning!

Santa paid a magical visit to the children at school for all of their hard work this year.  Their faces lit up when he arrived in his Santa Jeep with lots of presents.

Then it was time to take part in our virtual Christmas show ‘The Search for Santa’.  We had lots of Elves, Reindeers, Snowmen and Santas in school as they filmed their exciting parts of the show.

Finally, every class took part in an Elf House Competition.  It is fair to say everyone took this very seriously, and created the most amazing Elf houses.  Take a look at some of the entries …
