To celebrate National Music day, we had our very own Co-op Academy Delius music festival. All of our pupils got to experience listening to a range of music from live bands at both our BD3 and BD7 sites.
The brass band played upbeat jazz music, letting all pupils experience a range of sounds they enjoyed dancing to, showing all of us their amazing dance moves. Our second band was led by two music therapists who encouraged all our pupils to use their beautiful singing voices and also get the chance to perform themselves. For our pupils currently learning from home, they got the chance to watch and take part in the ‘Big Virtual Sing 2021’ which was streamed live from London and included artists from across the globe who encouraged everyone to sing loud and proud!
