This year our Year 6’s had the amazing opportunity to attend our annual residential at Nell Bank in Ilkley. 

While at Nell Bank we did lots of amazing activities such as; pond dipping, water play, a 3-bridges walk, climbing the adventure playground, orienteering and riding in the Nell mobile.

While we were pond dipping we loved searching in the reeds with our nets to see what creatures we could find – we found 32 great-crested newts!

On our 3-bridges walk we investigated the local surroundings and took in the fabulous sights from around the local area.

Our favourite activity by far was riding really fast in the Nell mobile and beeping the horn!

Our pupils blew us away with their independence and teamwork throughout the visit and we are confident that they are prepared for their next adventure at Secondary School in September.
