Who are the Bradford Toy Library?
The Bradford Toy Library is a charity offering free loan of specialist toys and play equipment to children with additional needs, to aid their development and enhance their play. They support children with specialist needs and families through toys, play and social interactions. They are able to offer advice and support if required or just the opportunity to have a chat and a cup of tea/coffee.
Parents who have not yet registered will be able to register for a membership enabling you to use the toy library as much as you want. Delius will pay for parent’s membership. All new members are welcome.
Delius and the Toy library are going to work together to help families to use the toy library and to get the most out of the FREE service.
A lot of the toys have been adapted for children with special needs and there are toys which are suitable for every child!
Please come and join us, there will be refreshments and nibbles available.
If you currently have any toys on loan please remember to bring them back to school when you come in for this session, or before the session if you are unable to attend. Please do not send any toys on loan into school with your child. It is your responsibility to return the toys to school.
